Win FREE Membership in YMCA 2024 Prairie Passport

One lucky person or family will earn a free membership to any YMCA of the Prairie branch in Holdrege, Lexington or Gothenburg during the 2024 YMCA Prairie Passport Challenge.

This new challenge takes place March 1-September 30 and challenges members or non-members to visit and exercise at each branch and participate in special events throughout the year. Participants must earn at least 10 points to complete the challenge. Everyone who completes the challenge will receive a YMCA of the Prairie sticker and will be entered into a drawing to win a free YMCA membership.

“We are excited to launch our first YMCA of the Prairie Passport Challenge,” YMCA of the Prairie CEO Riley Gruntorad said. “This challenge will encourage residents in south-central Nebraska to get out of their hometowns, try new exercises, experience new events, and connect with YMCA members in other communities. Plus, it will give members a reason to stay active and exercise throughout the year.”

Anyone interested in participating in the 2024 YMCA of the Prairie Passport should register and pick up their passport book at their local YMCA (910 20th St. in Gothenburg, 1415 Broadway in Holdrege and 1207 N. Grant in Lexington). The program is FREE to both members and non-members. Members may exercise at any other YMCA at no charge as part of the statewide YMCA reciprocal membership program. Fees may be charged for some events, while most are free. Non-members will need to pay a day-pass fee for each visit, and most events are free.

The YMCA is dedicated to strengthening the community through programs focused on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
